Sex. Sex. Sex. What’s the big deal about “sex.” Why is it so “taboo” to talk about sex? Are there simply not enough places where you can go and feel comfortable enough to freely talk about sex?
Here’s one place that celebrates sex: ilya (if you didn’t know yet). And they’re holding their first-ever sex talk.
Next week Sunday, Dec. 10, from 1pm to 4pm, Maginhawa’s friendly sex shop next door ilya is holding a three-hour long sex-positivity talk addressing the “what-that-shall-not-be-spoken-of” a.k.a. the well-known “taboo” surrounding sex, sex toys, and sexuality. Our Big O columnist Trisha O’bannon will be talking about body image and exploring yourself, while Con and Arvin from ilya will share personal stories straight from their customers, answer queries, and advice you on how to find the right toy for you.
The firsts to a series of open discussions, the inaugural ilya Playground: A series of fortunate eventsentitled “Your Body is a Wonderland” will be about one’s ownership over their own body. For a price of P200, you will be able to participate in an afternoon of titillating conversations in the welcoming sex shop that serves the best ice cream in town.
ilya Playground: A series of fortunate events will be held on Dec. 10, 2017, from 1pm-4pm, at ilya, 189 Maginhawa St., Brgy. Sikutana, Quezon City. Tickets are P200 here.
